I'm scared by things I shouldn't be.....

Yeah... I was just remembering the first time I looked up Jeff the Killer. I read half of the Creepy Pasta story, and couldn't finish it. Then I had the BRIGHT idea to look up a picture of him. Nope. It was 12 at night when I did this. Couldn't sleep without my light on for 3 or 4 nights Dx eventhough I know Jeff isn't real. I'm not scared by fictional characters at all, I know that they are made up, and are not real. But why Jeff scared me.... I don't know Dx 
And I tried going back today.... why me... I always freak myself out for some reason Dx
